　　麥斯‧潘恩即將重現江湖！Rockstar 正式宣布，火爆動作遊戲《江湖本色》系列新作《江湖本色 3（英文原名 Max Payne 3）》正在研發中，預定今年冬天問世。

　　《江湖本色 3》由 Rockstar 溫哥華工作室製作中，遊戲內容主要描述麥斯‧潘恩雖然已經退休，仍無法脫離世界的暴力與貪腐勢力威脅。

　　《江湖本色》故事原本描述麥斯‧潘恩原本過著幸福美滿的生活，有一天他的妻子與孩子竟然被邪惡勢力殘酷謀殺，為了替心愛的妻兒報仇，他決定要調查幕後真兇；當時遊戲備受矚目的就是慢速對峙系統，當麥斯‧潘恩發動慢速對峙時，玩家可以慢動作來瞄準並射擊，至於發動必須要有能量，只要殺害罪犯就可以補充。

　　Rockstar 共同創辦人 Sam Houser 表示，研發團隊試圖藉由這款新作，介紹麥斯‧潘恩生命的新一篇章，這將是玩家從未見過的麥斯‧潘恩，稍微老了幾歲，更加厭世與玩世不恭。歷經了《江湖本色 2》所發生的種種事件後，玩家將可以經歷到麥斯‧潘恩越陷越深的生命體驗。

　　《江湖本色 3》新作舞台將會包括一個新的城市，麥斯‧潘恩在《江湖本色 2》的種種事件後，選擇離開了紐約市。但 Rockstar 並未透露新遊戲所發生的城市將會在哪個城市。

　　《江湖本色 3》預定今年冬天在 PC、PS3、Xbox 360 上登場。
