An ex-employee of LucasArts has leaked details regarding a number of titles in development, including a BioWare-developed Knights of the Old Republic MMO.

The source has told Kotaku that he is one of 75-100 employees laid off in a massive shake-up yesterday, including the producer of the Lego Star Wars and Indy titles.

As well as KotOR 3, the ex-staffer spilled the beans on production going ahead with Battlefront 3 (which we exclusively revealed is being developed by Free Radical), a new (non-Lego) Indy game (although we knew about that) and a Wii lightsaber game.

Considering the leak comes from an ex-LucasArts employee, we're not expecting a confirmation of these titles any time soon. Still, we know that LucasArts and Bioware are working on *something* together. We'll have to see.

Sans conteste la grosse rumeur du jour : LucasArts Entertainment aurait lancé une vague de licenciements depuis mercredi 4 juin qui aurait touché de 75 à 100 de ses employés, dont Shawn Storc, producteur de LEGO Star Wars et LEGO Indiana Jones. Aucune information n'a été donnée sur les raisons de tout cela.

Mais plus intéressant, ces anciens employés une fois en dehors de la société auraient révélé certains des titres qui seraient en tout début de développement chez LucasArts Entertainment. On trouve donc un Battlefront 3, un nouveau jeu LEGO basé sur l'univers d'Indiana Jones et un autre de l'aventurier au fouet, cette fois plus réaliste dans son approche. Bien entendu, tous les regards se tournent vers un certain jeu de « sabre laser » à venir sur Wii mais aussi et surtout le projet Star Wars KOTOR 3, toujours développé par Bioware et dont les deux premiers avaient fait la joie des joueurs PC et Xbox première du nom. Comme d'habitude, on attendra une confirmation de l'éditeur avant de sauter de joie.
