今次PS4係用PC料,所以零件供貨足,兼Sony會狂出貨,就算有炒價都唔會持續好耐,所以見炒價唔好買,等吓應該好快回落

Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has today revealed the company has been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm Australian gamers have shown for the system.
“We’ve known for a while that we have something really special with PS4 and the number of pre-orders we’re seeing through our retail partners affirms this belief.” Said Michael Ephraim, Managing Director at SCE Aust.
“It’s been seven years since we launched our last console in Australia and it seems the appetite for a high quality gaming experience continues to grow.”
Consumer and Market Research company Roy Morgan Research has revealed that 600,000 gamers are intending to purchase the PlayStation 4, which apparently doubles those interested in purchasing the Xbox One. These figures collected during the months of July and August this year.
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has also conducted their own research to find out which features have gamers most excited for the PlayStation 4. Sitting atop the list is the new powerful processor, followed by the line-up of new games and then the DualShock 4 controller itself.
“Sony Computer Entertainment believes that it is important to offer as many gamers around the world the opportunity to get their hands on PS4 this year.” Ephraim continued.
“The features of the PS4 have really captured the imagination of Australian gamers, making demand far higher than we anticipated. It’s clear that PS4′s powerful features, personalisation and unrelenting focus on what gamers love most is building up to one of the most exciting launches in our industry’s history.”
PlayStation 4 will launch in Australia on November 29 for AUD$549.95.

Target is offering 3 for 2 on PlayStation 4 games when the console launches next month, according to an image of a leaked flyer posted on Reddit. The flyer, apparently for deals from November 10-16, indicates each of the games shown and "more in stores" will be eligible. The fine print notes the three games must be different, so don't go trying to hoard all the Killzones, you would-be Killzone hoarders.
It's also worth noting the flyer lists some of the games, like Madden 25, FIFA 14, Assassin's Creed 4, and Battlefield 4, as available starting Tuesday, i.e. November 12. As ever with new system launches, we're seeing next-gen games beat their next-gen consoles to retail shelves. For example GameStop is already selling Killzone: Shadow Fall, if you fancy staring at a box for two weeks. Or just hoarding it.

- The PlayStation 4 also lacks DLNA support, eliminating client functionality for home PC media servers. In addition, the platform does not feature a music visualizer, and ditches support for dynamic themes and .mp3 playback.
-Sony addressed the console's one-time activation requirement for DVD and Blu-ray playback, noting that players can request a Blu-ray activation disc in lieu of a downloadable update. The update can also be installed via USB.

Kenny Linder, a former employee of shuttered Sony UK studio Bigbig, has revealed some new details about the PlayStation 4′s OS , namely about adjusting the safe zone, notifications and the extent of what the Share button can do.
Remember playing some games where you could adjust the size of the screen to better fit the game into the edges? That square is the safe zone and dictates how the game is fit into your display. You can now adjust it in the PS4′s OS itself, thus eliminating the need to individually match it for each game.
As for notifications, you can choose from different toggles for what notification you receive such as for Friends, Downloads Complete and much more. If you want to game in peace without any notifications, you can switch them off without issues. You also have the option to turn the OS music on and off.
The Share button has three key functions: the ability to take screenshots, calling up the menu and recording video. You’ll also have different options for how many taps do what. For example, a single press of the Share button could take a screenshot while double tapping it will start recording. You can adjust these around to have a single press bring up the menu and a long press to start recording depending on your preferences.
