佢有講其實AI唔係白痴, 你睇敵人AI都知電腦可以幾屈機
同伴AI係刻意調較到依家咁, 因為佢唔想bot會走去做晒D objective, 搶晒風頭, 搞到成隻game變左自動波咁, 搞到真人玩家好似冇乜存在價值咁, 而因為rubberband AI, bot同伴多數會喺最後兩分鐘先變強+主動去做objective, 因為當去到最後兩分鐘玩家都做唔到objective既時候, 電腦自然會分辦出佢唔做ojective就即係冇人做 所以其實講到尾, 隻game真係為多人連線而設, bot只係當你唔夠腳既時候先入黎做下陪襯

我唔太喜歡佢人樣五官個D比例

單機有故事, 但基本上可有可無只係每個map前後或中段會有D cut-scene交代下劇情
Security同Resistance每一方各有8關, 另外各有兩關what-if
但其實單機同multiplayer實際上係一樣, 因為係玩番同一堆map, 只係單機迫你用bot玩
所以一句講到尾, 為單機, 為故事, 千其唔好買; 為多人連線, 為玩團體作戰, 萬勿錯過

隻game既美術風格我反而好buy, D人的確個個都面目猙獰, 不過D衫褲好靚, 最重要係色彩豐富, 真係眼前為之一亮, 玩得多其他FPS真係以為自己色盲, 唔係啡就灰

不過,我買了THE ORANGE BOX都未玩,
唔知玩法同操作又似唔似呢?

我反而比較鐘意呢類不太似人的設計,
咁殺人感覺無咁血腥,無咁有罪惡感…

Promised Brink update released, first DLC will be free

Splash Damage has released another update for Brink, just as it promised earlier in the week, and the firm has also announced that the first bit of DLC to be released for the title will be free.

In a post over on the the Bethesda blog, the firm note that to help reduce lag on the Xbox 360 version of the game, it has reduced the number of human players available when matchmaking for Campaign and most Freeplay modes from sixteen to eight players total. The change will allow those connecting and hosting matches to find and connect easier. The same configuration will be applied to the PS3 version when the PSN service comes back online.

Those who have not experienced lag issues, the firm will provide 8v8 on all maps via its new Big Teams configuration in Freeplay as well as through custom settings in Private matches.

The update does not require a download, and it will be available as soon as you log into Xbox Live and launch either campaign or standard Freeplay matches.

An incremental update for PC players which addresses AI, GPU, and server issues will be released on Stem as well, and you can look over the full patch notes here. Many of these fixes will also be included in the full update for consoles.

Splash Damage went on to say that the free DLC headed players way will be released in June, and includes additional maps and new content. The firm will release more information on the DLC as next month looms.

Next Brink patch detailed, expected to go live on all formats next week

Splash Damage has detailed the next patch for PC and console editions of Brink, and we’ve got some highlight for you below.

Xbox 360

Completed modifications to improve network performance.
Fix an isolated freezing issue reported by some German players who should no longer experience that problem once the update has been installed.

PC

The cause of sound dropping out on certain maps when playing networked games for a prolonged amount of time has been identified. This will no longer occur.
Graphical performance has been improved, especially when using Ambient Occlusion. Closely worked with both AMD and NVIDIA, folks should see performance and stability improvements in future driver revisions from both parties.
The server browser is tweaked in this update, as well; among other things, a new filter allows you to display only servers with a certain number of players on them, and full servers will no longer be filtered out completely.
There are some smaller fixes for minor issues including your character’s voice occasionally resetting when deleting another character, and a memory leak when alt-tabbing out of the game.
The dedicated server is set to get an update at the same time as the main game, which will result in improved CPU performance. Certain cvars are protected that previously allowed server admins to accidentally break objectives involving NPCs.
The full changelog will be released alongside the update.

PS3

With PSN back online, multiplayer testing will resume. Changes in the upcoming Xbox 360 title update will be applied to the PS3 version quickly.

Brink DLC Details and Stats Site Update

Today we've got some exciting news to share about two big Brink updates in the works.

First up, the statistics site will be going live next Tuesday for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players. PC players can look forward to it going very soon. This site, located at brinkthegame.com, will be your hub for in-depth stats, including data on matches, players and the overall progress in the weekly Battle for the Ark. Check out the screenshot above for a sneak peek and dig up that VIP code as you’ll need it to register once the stats page is live.

On top of that, the Agents of Change DLC is just on the horizon, slated for release in June. The pack will bring new maps, abilities, character customization options and weapon attachments to Brink, while also raising the level cap to 24. Here's a full list of the DLC content:

New Maps
Founders' Tower – The revolution finally reaches the island's iconic spire and takes the battle for the Ark to dizzying heights.
Labs – Venture into the depths of the Ark’s original research and development laboratories, a submerged high-tech facility so far untouched by the civil war.

New Player Abilities
UAV – This stealthy and lethal device allows Operatives to automatically mark nearby enemies on their radar. For more explosive fun, they can even take direct control of the UAV and detonate it near unsuspecting foes.
Napalm Grenade – Soldiers can use this new grenade to cover an area in a sea of deadly flames.
Pyro Mine – Engineers can plant these mines and leave enemies in the epicenter of a massive napalm explosion.
Field Regen Unit – Medics can deploy these units to increase the health regeneration of any nearby teammates.
Tactical Scanner – This universal ability allows players to reveal the active buffs of their opponents, allowing them to pick off enemies more strategically.

New Weapon Attachments
Bayonets – Gain the edge in melee combat and cause extra damage with these deadly blades.
Weapon Shields – Take cover from enemy fire and prevent headshot bonus damage behind riot-style shields.

New Character Outfits
The Sad Punk – Add a touch of Steampunk to your Resistance character.
The Limey – Bring order to the Ark with this outfit inspired by traditional European police lawmen.

Brink's Agents of Change DLC pack goes live on 3rd August for PC and Xbox 360 users, and 4th August for PlayStation 3, publisher Bethesda has announced.

The add-on offers two new environments, five new player abilities, two new outfits, two new weapon attachments and a handful of new achievements/trophies, listed below:

Science Maven: Win Labs as both factions in Campaign Mode (50G/Bronze)
Towering Achievement: Win Founders' Tower as both factions in Campaign Mode (50G/Bronze)
A Burning Thing: Kill an enemy with a Napalm Grenade (20G/Bronze)
Pyromancer: Kill an enemy with a Pyro Mine (20G/Bronze)
Remote Control: Kill an enemy with a UAV (20G/Bronze)
Mutual Support: Have a Field Regen Unit buff more than three players simultaneously (30G/Silver)
Ark King: Reach Level 24 (60G/Gold)

The add-on will be free to download for the first two weeks. Bethesda hasn't yet detailed what happens thereafter.

Brink: Agents of Change DLC free for two weeks

Bethesda offering Splash Damage's first two-map multiplayer add-on at no cost from August 3-17.

Following Brink's debut in May, Bethesda Softworks and Splash Damage appeared to focus their post-release energy on getting the game's spotty online component up to snuff. However, Splash Damage has also been working on new content for Brink, and today Bethesda said that gamers will get their first piece of add-on content beginning August 3.

Titled Agents of Change, the multiplayer add-on offers a situational storyline, in which a ship docks at the Ark and sparks new conflict between the Resistance and Security factions. This new fight opens up two new battlegrounds: an underwater labs facility and the Founders' Tower, which plays home to the haven's upper class.

Along with introducing two new arenas, the Agents of Change add-on raises the level cap to 24. Players can also get new outfits and weapon attachments

To spur demand, Bethesda is offering the Agents of Change DLC to Brink owners free of charge for the first two weeks. After the free period expires, the pack will be available through Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and Steam for $10 (800 Microsoft points).
