Bethesda The first three levels of Dishonored 2 will be free to play this weekend. The free trial includes the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game as well as the PC version through Steam.
The sequel to the 2012 hit came out late last year and reviewed well at many outlets, including here at Polygon. The game was ranked at number seven in our list of the top 10 games of 2016.
“Two levels in this game,” Polygon wrote in January, “The Clockwork Mansion and A Crack in the Slab, are some of the most memorable and interesting missions I’ve played. In any game. Ever. They’re a masterclass on the underappreciated artform of level design.”
The free trial ends right before “The Clockwork Mansion.” A press release issued by Bethesda today says that progress will carry over after the trial period if you decide to purchase the full game.
Dishonored 2 has been steadily updated since its launch. Perfectionists and completionists alike will be pleased to know that a recent update will allow you to select missions once you’ve completed them.

早前 GEME 報導過的港產4人合作守城遊戲《Hell Warders》昨日已正式登上 Indiegogo 展開眾籌，獨立遊戲團隊 Ares Games 希望可以籌得10000美元。昨天 GEME 已率先試玩 beta 版本。
《Hell Warders》採用塔防遊戲的模式，惡魔會在地圖上的數個入口出現，並一直朝核心推進，如果核心被摧毁就會 Game Over。玩家可以在地圖上佈置各種欄柵、弓箭手、投石器及怪物殲滅敵人，亦會親自下場斬妖除魔。目前 beta 版本共提供3個職業，包括騎士 (Ash)、槍手 (Dead Eye) 及陷阱專家 (Samson III)，各有不同技能和職責。
右手執巨劍、左手持盾的騎士在隊中負責控場，兩招技能分別是大範圍的震地攻擊，以及將敵人集中在一處的的火龍捲。騎士亦能舉盾減輕傷害，比其他角色更能長時間逗留戰線上，是留住巨型頭目的不二人選。
槍手有3把槍，分別是霰彈槍、榴彈發射器及機關槍，前兩者分別用於近身戰鬥及大量敵人聚集的場合。機關槍的射速極高，對於血量極高的頭目級敵人非常有效。
外表仙風道骨的陷阱專家其實曾是一國之君，但他的沙漠王國卻被惡魔毁於一旦。Beta 版中的陷阱專家暫時只有兩招，分別是放置炸藥桶及「龜波氣功」。炸藥桶一接觸到敵人便會爆炸，造成極高傷害；「龜波氣功」可以將炸藥桶推向前方，亦可以推走隊友，是殺人放火、破壞友情的必備招數。
雖然遊戲目前處於 beta 版本，完成度及難度也不高，但已經可以體驗到遊戲的雛型。4人合作抵擋一波又一波的惡魔感覺流暢爽快，放置欄柵及武器的位置亦考驗玩家對於地圖及敵人的理解，唯希望團隊可以加強遊戲的打擊感，令殺敵過程更爽快。遊戲團隊 Ares Games 表示在正式版本中，角色升級後會開啟更多技能，亦可以靠開箱得到更多裝飾及角色。

Even better, the game's upcoming VR support will be free to anyone who owns Payday 2. So snag the game now and you'll be able to try it in VR at no additional cost.
This offer will expire once 5m people have claimed it or 21st June - whichever comes first.
So why is Overkill doing this? The answer is because it will soon be releasing the Payday 2 Ultimate Edition, which will include all 48 pieces of paid DLC that have been added to the game since its 2013 launch. Until then, all of the game's DLC has been taken off the market.
The exact pricing for the impending Payday 2 Ultimate Edition is still to be determined. It will be $45 to those who are buying it from scratch, but discounts will be available to those who have already purchased some premium content. The exact pricing breakdown will be confirmed when the Ultimate Edition launches in the near future.
Eurogamer contributor Dan Whitehead praised Payday 2 upon its initial launch and the game has only expanded since then.
