You can play Fallout 4 for 400 hours without seeing everything By Steve Wright / in News, PC, PS4, Slider, Video Games, Xbox One / on Friday, 31 Jul 2015 02:08 PM / 1 We all know that Bethesda can craft some pretty huge games, so it will come as no surprise that their next big title Fallout 4 will have a large amount of replay value. People have likely told you stories of how they have played Skyrim for hundreds of hours and continue to find new things to see and do. But 400 hours without seeing everything? That’s almost unheard of, but according to Bethesda’s lead producer Jeff Gardiner it is true of Fallout 4. Speaking to OXM, Jeff had this to say. “I’ve played the game for probably 400 hours, and I’m still finding stuff that I haven’t seen.”This is apparently in no small part thanks to the game’s extensive crafting system. Previous Bethesda games have had lots to see and do, but none have offered the endless opportunities for creativity like Fallout 4 will with its ability to customize specific sections of the Wasteland as well as weapons and body armor. Pete Hines discussed the system in a bit more detail. “For the larger building stuff it’s not stored in your inventory, it’s in the workbench that you’re using in that area. I de-constructed this and it’s all stored over her and then when I go to build it’s pulling from that inventory of stuff I have.”Electronics can also be installed in buildings but will require generators. “It’s all common sense visual stuff. If it doesn’t connect to the generator, the power doesn’t work. You can actually flag stuff to say ‘I’m looking for this stuff because I want to make this’ which means that when you’re scavenging anything that fulfils the requirement gets flagged in the world. When you connect stuff to the computer terminal you have a lot of control and sort of fine tuning. If you’ve got something that plays music, you can actually define how it’s playing music.”All very exciting stuff. Which aspect of Fallout 4 has you most giddy with anticipation?

樓上支棍好歡樂，應該可以將DR3全比下去！
  400 HOURS，應該係未計DLC，咁我會只玩主GAME，無視DLC直接等GOTY。

Fallout 4 post launch plans, Season Pass confirmed
 Fallout 4 – Launch and Beyond After many long years, Fallout 4 is entering its final months of development. We've put so much into it for so long; we can’t believe it’s almost done. The game will soon be out of our hands and into yours. There’s so much there that we haven’t talked about or spoiled, because we want you to discover it, to make it your own. It's during this stage of development that we start thinking about how we'll support Fallout 4 after launch. We wanted to give you a taste of what we plan on doing: Regular Updates We'll be doing regular free updates to the game, and like Skyrim, these will come with not just fixes, but new features. For Skyrim we added things like mounted combat, legendary mode, kill cams, visual enhancements and more. We’ll work with all of you to figure out what new things you’d love to see added to Fallout 4, whether they are small tweaks or new features. Mods & Creation Kit The most important thing in our games is the freedom you have to create your own experience, and modding is a big part of that. Like all our previous games, we’ve made sure to keep Fallout 4 open and moddable at every step in development. Early next year we’ll release for free the new Creation Kit for the PC. This is the same tool we use in the studio. You'll be able to create your own mods and share them with others. We’re especially excited these same mods will then be coming to Xbox One, and then PlayStation 4. Downloadable Content We've always done a lot of DLC for our games. We love making them and you always ask us for more. To reward our most loyal fans, this time we’ll be offering a Season Pass that will get you all of the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30. Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you'll get it all with the Season Pass. Thanks again to all of you! The support and excitement you’ve given Fallout 4 has blown us away. It’s energized us even more to do everything we can in these final months to make this our best game yet.
