As E3 draws near, Nintendo is stoking up even more interest in its showcase. After the recent announcement that Super Mario Sunshine co-director Koizumi-san will be talking about a secret project at E3, Nintendo has gone all out on the shocks by letting slip that it will reveal a brand new IP (Intellectual Property) at the show.

According to reports, an industry source close to Nintendo has claimed that the US press, under a non-disclosure agreement, has already seen this mysterious new asset.

Rumours are rife as to what this product could be - some believe it will take the form of a new GameCube title - but no matter what, the IP is going to be one of the key announcements at E3 this year.
