依家xbox beta版存在一個好麻煩的問題....就係server太少人玩...會有Lv斷層,好難找隊.

美國當地時間3月23日在召開的遊戲開發者會議2006中，Square Enix公司的在線服務經理Sage Sundi發表了演講「Creating a Global MMO: Balancing Cultures and Platforms in FINAL FANTASY XI」，演講介紹了Square Enix公司以《最終幻想XI》為中心的在線遊戲的世界戰略。

Sundi首先向與會者說明了Square Enix公司的事業戰略「多形態內容（Polymorphic Contents）」，多形態內容是指將一個內容向平台、媒體、文化等多方面進行發展，而《最終幻想XI》就是在PC、PS2以及Xbox 360（4月20日正式開始服務）3個平台上推出，並且在日、美、歐各地開展服務。

會議中，Sundi公開了《最終幻想XI》的現狀。目前，已經在全世界有50萬以上的玩家加入了《最終幻想XI》的會員（日本占55%、歐美占45%），使用的角色數共有160萬以上。每天登陸的人數達到20萬～30萬，同時在線人數有13萬～15萬人。

Sundi表示，MMORPG運營的重點在於『多機種的展開』和『全球可同時訪問同一服務器』，而在此基礎上，為維持會員數量而進行的玩家參加型活動的舉辦以及對同人網站的支持等都是十分重要的。

會議的最後，Sundi還公開了Square Enix公司將製作一款次世代MMORPG遊戲的消息，但並未公開具體的遊戲內容，我們只能等待Square Enix公司的正式發表。

Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection coming in November

With ostentatiously lengthy titles such as A Shantotto Ascension - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born, we can't blame you for not being able to keep track of the expansions for Final Fantasy XI. By the end of this year, the game will have received seven content additions in the form of retail expansion packs and downloadable add-ons. Fortunately, Square Enix has decided to bundle all of these together in the Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection for PC and 360, which is set to hit North American store shelves on November 10 with a slim $20 price tag.

Seems like an odd move, considering one of these add-ons isn't even out yet. Still, with a new bundle of joy on its way, Squeenix is probably getting antsy about last year's model.

Three new add-ons coming to Final Fantasy XI

I know that plenty of Final Fantasy XI players out there are not so patiently awaiting Final Fantasy XIV for a chance to sink their teeth into a new MMO in the FF universie, but while you're chomping at the bit why not play a bit more of XI. There will be plenty of new stuff thanks to Square Enix announcing three new battle area add-on scenarios for the game today.

The add-ons will release throughout 2010 with the first, "Vision of Abyssea," coming sometime this summer. The next two do not have official release dates yet, but are called "Scars of Abyssea" and "Heroes of Abyssea." All three will include new stages for combat, new monsters to battle and new equipment to collect. Each package will run you $9.99 and all of them require the previously released expansion packs "Rise of the Zilart" and "Wings of the Goddess." They'll drop on all of the games platforms (Playstation 2, Xbox 360 and PC) at the same time.

I know absolutely no one who is still playing FF XI, but that doesn't mean you aren't out there. Rejoice! New content cometh.

不但加 "相當於 AF3" 既職業專用裝備, 下個 patch 先加可用在 campaign 既 npc 專用 ws 既武器.. 之後會有第 3 系列最強武器.. 即係相當於裡世界武器同 100/F 武器果類野.. 起碼仲可以玩兩年?
