育碧美女製作人透露《刺客 信條》最新情報

http://www.levelup.cn/article/html/n...10/1174818.htm 育碧公司《刺客 信條》開發小組的成員近日透露,在這款以中世紀暗殺者為主角的動作遊戲中,將可以實現700種以上的人物動作。當然,誰也不可能通過手柄同時控制這麼多的動作。開發小組負責人Jade Raymond表示,育碧在遊戲中使用了一種新的系統,使玩家可以在充分享受動作遊戲操作的快感的同時輕易控制角色的行動。 本作的主人公Altair是一位隸屬於中世紀神秘團體的刺客(Raymond確認他不是通過時空旅行來到這個世界的),要進行暗殺就必須首先瞭解目標的情況,玩家可以利用「監視」、「竊聽」以及「偷盜」這三種技能來對目標進行調查。當玩家掌握了三條或更多的關鍵線索並確定對目標的情況已經足夠瞭解後,玩家就可以開始執行暗殺計劃了。 暗殺工作進入行動階段後,玩家可以利用「潛伏」來混入人群,在城堡和要塞周圍勘察來瞭解行動的最佳路線,利用情報已經刺客的知覺來尋找目標的蹤跡,最後用手中的利刃了結目標的生命。至此,暗殺的行動階段就基本完成了。 在操控主人公Altair時,育碧設計了一個「四鍵式」的控制模式,在Xbox 360版中,Y鍵控制頭部,X鍵控制使用武器的那隻手,B鍵控制沒有武器的一隻手,A鍵則控制下半身的行動。右側的RT鍵在操縱過程中相當於一個力度計量計,按鍵的力量不同將決定Altair行動時的動作幅度,比如行走和奔跑等。 利用Y鍵,玩家可以執行竊聽等動作;A鍵則是用來控制人物的跳躍;比較有意思的是攀爬這項技能,Altair出色的攀緣技能使他可以輕鬆的在任何有突起或粗糙的牆壁或類似物體上爬行,這一點與波斯王子非常相似。利用這一點,玩家可以操縱Altair翻越城牆、高塔甚至懸崖,看來這項技能絕對是暗殺工作最重要的能力之一,一定要熟練操作才行。 《刺客 信條》的開發小組成員曾經透露,本作的PS3版和Xbox 360版基本上沒有什麼差別,但Raymond暗示,遊戲的Xbox 360版將在角色的AI方面進行著重強化,這一點與主機本身的性能也有一些關係,但具體情況她沒有透露。 |

Secrets of Assassin's Creed Leaked?
Actress lets the premise of high profile Ubisoft title out of the bag in interview. by Jeff Haynes http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/750/750958p1.html December 13, 2006 - For months, we've been covering every scrap of information about Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft's Montreal's upcoming action game set in 1191 AD during the Third Crusade. As the assassin Altair, players are tasked with eliminating key figures on both sides of the war in an attempt to end the hostilities. Not only does Assassin's Creed offer new stealth mechanics thanks to its social camouflage feature, it also showcases new acrobatic maneuvers using the immediate environment around Altair that haven't been seen before in a game. While there were some curious hints as to whether or not the entire game would be set solely in the Third Crusade thanks to some of the video clips that have been released, we were looking forward to potentially changing the course of history. Or will we? Interestingly, it seems as though the medieval action title isn't exactly what it seems. Looks like there's more of a sci-fi twist to the game than we initially thought. In an interview with IGN TV, Kristen Bell, the star of Veronica Mars explains her connection to the upcoming game. She also reveals the sci-fi premise behind the game: "It's actually really interesting to me. It's sort of based on the research that's sort of happening now, about the fact that your genes might be able to hold memory. And you could argue semantics and say it's instinct, but how does a baby bird know to eat a worm, as opposed to a cockroach, if its parents don't show it? And it's about this science company trying to, Matrix-style, go into peoples brains and find out an ancestor who used to be an assassin, and sort of locate who that person is." We contacted Ubisoft for a comment on Bell's disclosure, but they were unavailable at the time this story was published. Looks like we'll be going back to the future with Assassin's Creed sometime next year. |

Streets Above: Assassin's Creed Interview
We chat with Ubisoft about its Third Crusade adventure. http://games.kikizo.com/news/200704/066.asp Most game designers spend relatively little time thinking about the crowds in their worlds. Even in so-called living cities, residents generally either ignore you or run from you, with but a scant nod in the direction of all those interesting greys in between. Not Ubisoft. In its upcoming action game Assassin's Creed the people that pulse through the dusty, busy streets are anything but ordinary. "The crowd is really our main second character," Claude Langlais, technical director at Ubisoft Montreal and former lead programmer on Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, told us recently. "You get feedback from the crowd on your actions. So, gradually, throughout the game, you can help citizens and bring them on to your side." Your side in this case is the assassins of the Third Crusade. Lead character Altair, once a highly ranked member, gets demoted to the lowest of grades after spectacularly botching a job. And that's where you come in, to guide Altair back through the ranks in the organization through assassination of key figures in the Holy Land. At first, says Langlais, your marks won't even know you're coming. Using your ever-improving climbing and Parkour (think Casino Royale's explosive opening) skills, you'll be tasked with assassinating important men who together are conspiring to fan the smouldering Third Crusade. These men, you will discover, are connected in a way not immediately obvious. Langlais won't say how, leaving players to unravel the conspiracy themselves. But you won't have to worry if you've not been keeping up in your studies of the Crusades. "The game is something that is pretty accessible," Langlais says. "You don't have to know about history. There are some historical facts, but there's a lot of fiction that goes into it." And it's that fiction that has people tracking the game thinking. Amid rumours that there is more to Assassin's Creed than you would immediately surmise, Langlais admits that there are parts of the game wholly withdrawn from what we've been shown. "We're not going to comment too much about the series," he says "but for this game, about 95 per cent takes place during the Third Crusade." So what about the other five per cent? Speculation seems to have settled on a scenario that spans time somehow, a theory given weight after comments by voice actress Kristen Bell last year that there were Matrix-like elements to the story. One rumour already put to rest is the destination of the game. Assassin's Creed was originally announced as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. After months of rumours, Ubisoft finally admitted that the game was coming to Xbox 360 and PC too. Ultimately, and on several levels, Assassin's Creed is reliant on knowledge. "The rule behind everything we did is to obey the rules everybody knows," explains Langlais. "Everybody's used to being in a crowd. If you're walking, trying not to attract too much attention, don't shove people out of the way because if you know if you do that you're going to cause trouble. The same rules apply in the game."
