Xbox One voice commands not available in all markets on release date

Microsoft has announced Xbox One voice commands will only be available in five regions at launch.

So those in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Germany will be able to use their voice to control the Xbox One dashboard and the like at launch,

but those in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain and New Zealand will be out of luck.

The list of regions was posted on the Xbox One overview here, and at the very bottom. This is likely due to Kinect voice control localization issues which caused a delay of the console in some regions.

Xbox One now in full production with improved CPU performance

So far, so good for the Xbox One.
Xbox chief marketing officer Yusef Mehdi just spoke at the Citi Global Technology Conference and said Microsoft is now in full production for the Xbox One and producing in mass with plans still on for a November 2013 launch.

About one month after improving the GPU clock speed, Mehdi added that Microsoft just made another technical boost by upgrading the CPU performance to 1.75 GHZ from 1.6 GHZ.
Mehdi wouldn’t reveal a launch date — the PlayStation 4 comes out Nov. 15 — but did say that the system is “really going to shine.”
“This will be the biggest launch we’ve ever done by a wide margin in terms of units shipped at launch,” Mehdi said.
Mehdi also had some interesting insights on the Xbox One policy reversals, the $499 price point and how the Xbox business will change with Microsoft’s big re-organization. Stay tuned for more.

XBLA 呢個係好好的優點來...

應該只係非XBLA GAMES吧，好似碟GAMES咁，就算而家都唔係所有碟GAME都有DEMO，XBLA GAMES就應該會繼續會有。

The Xbox One supports eight wireless controllers simultaneously connected to the system, compared to four on the PlayStation 4. Microsoft's figure of eight came via new details on the Xbox One controller's product page, whereas Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida chimed in (via Twitter of course) with the corresponding number for the PS4.

It's maybe not news that will matter to most players, but it does make eight-player local Bomberman a possibility on Xbox One, and that would be grand. As to how many Xbox One games will support local eight-player in reality ... we'll see.

It's also a curious reversal of the current-gen situation. As Videogamer points out, the PS3 can support up to seven controllers at once, while the Xbox 360 goes up to four.

而當中因為有英國, 所以有英文.
