GODZILLA: King of the Monsters WEDNESDAY Actuals! KOTM Breaks $300 Million+ Worldwide Today!
Yesterday at the Box Office 'GODZILLA' pulled in a solid $1,585,122 in domestic gross, striking a new domestic total of $84,236,941, to which also officially placed its worldwide total both on and over $300 million! More specifically $300,236,941!
Oversea numbers have yet to be updated, which should happen either Sunday or Monday, so expect the worldwide total of KOTM to be much larger than it is now.
If 'GODZILLA' fairs well in dailies today despite MIB and Shaft hitting theaters tonight(and opening this weekend), then before its third weekend, KOTM should end this week with a domestic total around $85.5M or $85.6M. Though there are chances for a $86M pull. In either case, 'GODZILLA' is looking at a potential weekend gross that places it breaking through $90M+. It will be slipping down the B.O ranks due to the new competition, possibly around #6 or #7 but still holding in the top ten.
